1. Operator and controller
ValuBridge is operated by THINKERZ LTD, a company registered in Scotland (Company No. SC778478). THINKERZ LTD is the data controller for the purposes of UK data-protection law in respect of the limited information described in this policy.
2. What information may be processed
ValuBridge is a browser-based calculation utility. It does not require registration and does not intentionally collect, store or transmit the financial figures you enter into the calculator. This policy distinguishes three categories of information that may arise: financial calculator inputs, contact communications and technical/hosting information.
3. Financial calculator inputs
The figures you enter (Enterprise Value, balance-sheet items, working-capital targets and minimum-cash parameters) are processed entirely within your browser using in-memory application state. They are not sent to a Base44 database, server function, AI model or analytics event, and are not placed in URLs, local storage, session storage or cookies. Refreshing or closing the page clears them. This does not mean that no technical data is processed at all — ordinary hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information as described below.
4. Contact communications
If you email hello@valubridge.io, your email provider and ValuBridge's email provider necessarily process the communication (such as sender, recipient, subject and content) for the purpose of delivering and responding to it. Please do not send confidential transaction documents, bank details, passwords, identity documents or sensitive financial information by ordinary email.
5. Technical and hosting information
Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, request metadata, security logs and device/browser information, as is necessary to deliver and secure the website. This is technical processing and is not financial-input processing.
6. Purposes and lawful bases
Where personal data is processed, we use it only where reasonably necessary to operate and secure the website, respond to communications, comply with legal obligations or protect legitimate business and security interests.
Depending on the circumstances, the lawful basis may be our legitimate interests, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation.
We do not rely on consent merely because you send us an ordinary enquiry. Where consent is legally required for a particular type of processing, it will be requested separately.
7. Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure and service providers to host, deliver, secure and operate ValuBridge, including Base44. These providers may process ordinary technical information needed to provide their services.
Where a service provider processes personal data on our behalf, appropriate contractual data-protection obligations apply. A provider may also process information for its own legitimate purposes where permitted by law and subject to its own privacy obligations.
8. Cookies and browser storage
ValuBridge does not use cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage to persist the financial figures entered into the calculator.
The hosting or platform infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar technologies where required to deliver, secure or operate the website.
If ValuBridge introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies in future, this policy will be updated and any consent mechanism required by applicable law will be implemented before those technologies are used.
9. Analytics
ValuBridge does not intentionally send financial calculator inputs or calculator field contents to analytics services.
Ordinary technical or aggregate usage information may be generated by hosting and platform infrastructure as part of operating, securing and maintaining the website.
If ValuBridge introduces its own non-essential analytics technologies in future, the relevant privacy information and any legally required consent controls will be implemented before activation.
10. International processing
Some infrastructure or service providers may process technical or personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant contractual or other lawful transfer mechanisms are relied upon.
11. Retention
Financial calculator inputs are not retained by ValuBridge after the browser session ends.
Email correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, maintain appropriate business records, resolve issues or meet legal obligations.
Technical and security information processed through hosting or platform infrastructure is retained in accordance with the relevant provider's operational and security requirements.
We periodically review information under our control and do not intend to retain personal data for longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed.
12. Security
We take reasonable measures to secure the service. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and you should not send sensitive information by ordinary email.
13. UK data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis relied upon, you may have rights including access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability.
These rights are not absolute and may not apply in every circumstance.

If you have concerns about how THINKERZ LTD handles your personal data, please contact us first at hello@valubridge.io so that we can investigate.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data-protection supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
15. Children
ValuBridge is a professional tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
16. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
17. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
